I went to Hancock College and completed an AA
majoring in Music....Played music professionally..
in many restaurants and lounges...and in churches
on the central coast for 20 years....I was house
musician at the Hilton hotel at the Airport from
1986-1989...and performed in many bands and as a soloist pianist there for many venues...in the lounge and fine dining room...I am a pianist/organist...and have enjoyed playing both...
I've also perfomed with some wonderful Broadway Musical productions...with the Jean Byrne in her
Lakeview Productions...and also with Santa Maria High Drama....fun stuff!!....I decided to return to
school in 1989...went to Cal Poly....and graduated
with Elementary Teaching Credentials in 1992....I have been working at Adam School here in Santa Maria...under contract since 1997....I am going to be teaching 3rd Grade in the 2009-10 year. I have been our Choir Director at Adam all these years...and I've written and directed...and performed with the Adam Angel Choir for many winter and spring choir shows....This is just a short synopsis of what I've been up to.....never been married...and have no children...just been a working girl......Cindy Evans

I will always remember how fun it was to "STUDY"
in Study Hall.....I was studying the others...around
me....not...books of course!....and trying not
to irritate poor Mr. Cooper!....what a job that was
to try to keep us "focused" on "the books"!..Ha!..
Anyway....I sincerely appreciate the great education I received at SMHS...and all the great
people who were my classmates....looking forward to seeing you...at the reunion....Cindy
