Penny was the first friend I made when my family moved to Santa Maria in the summer of 1964. Her mother's friend lived next door and told me Penny was my age so introduced us. Penny told me where everything was in town and was with me when I had to register for my freshman year at Santa Maria High. I think I had learned of her passing at our 10 year reunion. I will never forget her.
Knew Penny since the 4th grade. So sorry to hear of her passing. She was one the smartest girl in the class and the only girl all the boys wanted on their kickball team. She had it all.
